Terms of Use

1. Digital Product Format

All products are digital PDF files delivered via download links for you to download and print yourself. No physical products are shipped. No documents will be emailed as attachments, and no PDFs will be sent via WhatsApp.

2. Delivery & Access

Download links become available immediately after successful payment via Payfast. EFT payments may take longer to process.

After purchase, download links will be available in your account under “Downloads” and will also be sent via automated email. Please check spam or junk folders if the email is not received.

Download links cannot be accessed through forwarded emails.

3. Download Period

Download links remain active for 365 days from purchase. After this period, access expires. Customers are responsible for downloading and securely storing their files within this timeframe.

4. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Correct items are selected in the cart (including product, language, and quantity)
  • A valid and correct email address is provided
  • Their device and software are capable of opening PDF files

We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect email details, missed communications, or user error during checkout.

5. Software, Device & Printing Requirements

Files must be opened using a standard PDF reader. They are password-protected and cannot be used through editing software.

Recommended setup:

  • Desktop device preferred for downloading
  • A4 printer setting, regular fit

Free sample resources (“Freebies”) are available to test compatibility before purchase.

6. Licence to Use

All products are licensed, not sold.

Each purchase grants a limited licence for:

  • Personal use within one household, OR
  • Use within a single classroom

Under this licence, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Sharing files in any form (digital or physical), including email, messaging apps, social media, or cloud storage
  • Uploading or publishing content online or in print
  • Reselling, redistributing, or offering files as part of another product or service
  • Copying, editing, modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works based on the original design or content

No ownership rights are transferred. All intellectual property remains with Jou Ou Slimmie.

Multi-classroom licences are available.

7. Refund Policy

Due to the immediate access and digital nature of products, all sales are final and non-refundable.

If you experience technical issues accessing your files, support will assist in restoring access where possible.

8. Pricing & Promotions

Discount codes and promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

9. Product Limitations

Products are not customisable and are supplied exactly as listed at the time of purchase.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the POPI Act. Personal information is collected only for order processing, account access, and communication related to purchases. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

11. Copyright

All content, designs, and materials on this website are the intellectual property of Jou Ou Slimmie and are protected under copyright law. All rights reserved.

12. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of these Terms of Use, including but not limited to misuse, sharing, redistribution, or violation of the licence terms. Decisions are made following internal review and at our discretion.
