The digraphs are sorted into groups:
Long a sound: ai, ay, a-e
Long e sound: ea, ee, ey, ie
Long i sound: ie, i-e
Long o sound: oa, oe, ow, o-e
Long u sound: ew (oo sound), ew (yoo sound), oo (long sound) oo (short sound), ue (oo sound), ue (yoo sound), u-e (oo sound); u-e (yoo sound)
Others: R controlled (ar, er, ir, or, ur), ea (short ea), diphthongs ou, ow, oi, oy.
